Trying to access my windows shares from Linux Mint

I'm trying to access my windows shares from Linux Mint (latest version) and it's asking for a usename and password.

What should I be entering as far as credntials go?

You would need to enter some valid windows login on the machine hosting the files that has access to them.

yes, but what windows login? I don't use a password for my windows machine.

Yes, and added all the proper permissions

I can access linux mint fine from my windows PC by giving it my samba user and password, just can't get into my windows from linux

You need to have Everyone in both the network share permissions AND the actual folder permissions.

If that does not work then you are just going to have to use a password on your machine
(you can set your computer to auto-login if it is really that much of a hassle).

lol, I think you have mis understood. In the screenshot above, Linux Mint is prompting me for Username, Domain, and Password. I simply don't know what i should put in those boxes. I don't use a password for windows, and windows won't let me set up a domain as long as i'm using a workgroup.

just turn off 'password protected' sharing in windows 'advanced sharing options'
