Hello everyone,
I've been gaming on the 1st PC i ever built since like summer 2018 and have been debating slowly getting an upgrade. The purpose of which would mainly be better next gen gaming performance (running graphically heavy games with ease in 1920x1080 on high-highest settings, with maybe an upgrade to 2560x1440 somewhere down the line) but also able to multitask running a browser, discord and one or two more similar apps smoothly (if possible) as well. Since I haven't really made any significant changes to the system itself, I thought that I might as well build a new one from scratch. (This one will get handed down to a family member once i do build a whole new system)
If possible I'd like to ask for your help gentlemen.
My current system specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700
Motherboard: Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming
RAM:2x KINGSTON HyperX FURY RGB 16GB DDR4 3733MHz (if possible reuse these)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070ti
I can go up to like 1400$ or maybe a bit more depending on how good the deal is.
My monitor itself is 1920x1080 240hz and I'm not really looking to change it so this aspect is covered.
Don't really care about overclocking or having multiple cpus (unless there's a reason you guys think i should?).
Approximate date would be maybe until the end of the year or so?
When it comes to SSD I'm looking for one of the newer PCIe 4.0 ones that are in your opinions good bang for your buck, same with motherboards.
A well balanced build that'll hold strong for the next like 5-8 years would be great.
I don't really have any brand preferences but have heard that i5 13600k is supposedly very good value for money?
A really good Serbian price comparison site is:
ePonuda
Some of the big tech retailers would be:
Gigatron
Tehnomanija
CTshop
Gentlemen i want to hear subjectivity, objectivity, whatever you guys think rocks these days. Your must haves, loves and first hand experiences. (Also if you think i shouldn't get a new system and should wait it out/just upgrade a few parts feel free to say so as well)
Many thanks for taking some time out of your lives and reading my post!
