im really lost, i dont know what to do!! i brought the following Gigabyte AX370 gaming 5, Ryzen 1600, G skill 2x4gb 3000mhz RAM and when i put them together i get the error for 0d... i look on the net and some place says i need to update my bios however that i cannot do!! why? because no PC shop near me will do this for me ( i said ill pay them) and i am at the end of my teather.. i got replacement mb and CPU and the same problem arose
do motherboards get shipped with the latest bios?
i really dont know what to do here, someone please help me

i cannot get into the bios, well i dont think i can, i turn it on and there is no signal! even if there is no signal do i just press del to enter bios?

On this board BIOS can only be updated if you can get it to post. And since you got second mobo and CPU and still same problem, and indeed this board needs F5 BIOS to support R5, most likely the wrong BIOS is the cause.
For the solution: you could call Gigabyte support, they should either offer you replacement board or BIOS update on this one - but in either case you would need to send the board you have directly to them.
Option 2, send the board back and buy such model that supports all Ryzen with starting BIOS.

i guess i could send back and get the MSI B350, the X370 i dont really need i guess not going to SLI, it was mainly the RGB features which are unnecessary and if i return this board i could possible get a SSD too so it might be for the best to do so... will my Ryzen 5 CPU work with the MSI B350 Tomahawk?
