Question Trying to choose... Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero or Crosshair VIII Formula?

So I've recently was given a Asus Crosshair VIII dark hero. I also have the formula version as well. I am in the process of doing a rebuild. I wondering which one I should consider keeping?

If you plan to watercool the system, the Formula would be the one to retain while the Dark hero is just a darker themed board without a VRM cooling solution that can't be added into a custom liquid cooling loop. Also, hierarchy wise the Formula is ranked higher which explains why there are minor differences to the board and it's layout/VRM/design.

What processor and ram kit are you pairing with either of the boards?
