Trying to decide between the Corsair H115i or H105.

I'm currently working on a new more pricey build, my CPU is an i7-7700k and I'm looking at these two water coolers.

The H105 is suppose to have a thicker radiator, x2 120mm fans.

The H115i is suppose to have x2 140mm fans and the description makes it sound like the better choice.

These two AIO's are what I'm currently looking at, I'm ready to pull the trigger on one of these ASAP. I am open to hear about different brands also or models.

My case is a Phanteks Eclipse, P400s Silent Edition.

Solution
With the larger rad and 140mm fans, the H115i would be the "better" purpose IMO.

Similar cooling performance, although the H115i should be marginally better - and should fit more with the "silent" theme of the case.
Think rad + larger fans should = less noise.

The only real downside to 280mm AIOs vs 240mm's is case compatibility - but you don't have that issue with the P400s.

Alternatives would be the NZXT Kraken X62, near identical performance;' and a little quieter than the H115i overall too - especially on pump noise.

I think it still runs for a little more $ than the H115i, but quieter and some RGB, if that's your thing....

Thank you for your reply, you have given me some insight on what to purchase next.

I think the H115i is a width of 312mm but it should be fine still with my case supporting up to 360mm.

Oh absolutely, you've no compatibility issues there.

If it were me, and I was opting for an AIO*, I'd opt for the X62. I actually hate RGB, so it's not even that factor for me - I'd disable it; it's the pump noise - I like "quiet".

*That's a theoretical "if it were me", as I tend to stay away from AIOs. Not because I dislike them or anything, I just find them unnecessary.
A quality air cooler, while bulkier (by a long ways in some cases) can rival even high-end AIOs, without the (slim) potential for a leak.
With the right Air cooler, what you sacrifice in terms of temps (a couple of degrees max), you can actually reclaim in quietness.... beautiful, beautiful quietness

Not a perfect comparison, as the NH-D15 (I have one) is up against 240mm AIO's, not 280s.
