it is always best to buy ram in match pairs, Even though you can buy the exact same single sticks of ram there is always differences in aftermarket ram and from the factory. Just try to stay with whatever mhz is in it say ddr4 2666 1x8 or 1x16
the you can always upgrade later to ddr4 2666 2x8 or as this 1 can go upto 32gb 2x16
at the current prices of ram soon would be the time to do it before it goes back up.
I paid $229.00 for my G.skill Flare x 3200 2x8 cl 14 this last september for my desktop when i upgrade to the r5 2600x that very same ram and very same store is now going for $149.00usd. you saw the ram i bought for this above.
Now is a great time for ram upgrades.

i was a little nervous myself with the thought of undervolting but it has helped alot.
i undervolted it to -0.155.
In the xtu software you can also see testing or stress tests DO NOT use it, that software and like occt, aida64, prime95 can generate too much heat too fast and these things just can't deal with that kind of heat,
use Cinebench, Userbenchmark, Asus real bench, 3dmark firestrike or time spy.
Using those don't look so much at the score but how the drives, ram, cpu score as individual components watch those changes to know when to stop. I started with a -.0100 and worked down till settling on -.0155.
also download hwinfo64 the newest version to watch your temp,s when installed run senors only.
As far as the gpu I run Msi Afterburner and have a little Overclock on the gtx1060 6gb which was made possible from Undervolting.
My last 3dmark firestrike
