Trying to decide if I should get this as a workstation computer and how it compares to current setup

So, I've got the opportunity to purchase an old Dell T3500 Workstation. I'm just not sure if it will do very well with what we run. Currently we are running Autocad lt, Revit lt, and Cabinet Vision. In the near future (about 5 months down the road) we will be also running Autodesk Showcase, and Autodesk 3dsMax. My current computer I don't believe will work very will wish Showcase or 3dsMax. It works with revit lt, but if I have the texturing set too high in 3d mode the FPS drops like crazy. So, will I see a noticeable improvement switching to this workstation PC vs my current set up? Here are the specs on each.

Current Set-up.
Intel Core i5 4670 3.4ghz
8gb 1600mhz ddr3 Ram
EVGA 750ti GPU

Possible workstation PC
Intel Xeon W3565 @ 3.5ghz
12GB 1167mhz ddr3 Ram
NVIDIA Quadro 5000 GPU
Also comes with a 22" Samsung 1080P monitor, raptor HDD and a 7200 HDD, mouse, keyboard, and Windows 7 pro.

If it was a current xeon processor I wouldn't have any issues grabbing it... likewise if it was a k5000 vs a 5000. With that being said... the price for it is 300 bucks... I almost feel like I'd be stupid not to get it... but I wanted to check here and see what sort of system I'll be getting.

Thanks ahead of time.

I'm really most interested in how the two computers compare with each other. If they will be close to each other or if the second one will be a better overall system for what we are doing we will go ahead and grab it
