Trying to decide.

I am thinking of building a mid range gaming computer. (800-900) There are so may processors out there, and I chose and i3-3220. Should I change it for an i5? What kind of processor would suit my needs. I like to multi-task and do little to no video editing.

If you want gaming an i5 would be a better bet for gaming, i dont know much of the specific intel processors but the i3s are starting to not cut it in terms of gaming anymore.

definitely i5, the clock speed is higher, and it has turbo boost tech, and generally more cores
