I know how to do it but I don't have a cd with XP, all I've got with me is a Rufus made usb dongle with Windows XP which doesn't work, it gets to a screen where XP asks for the cd.

Is there a way to install XP using an usb dongle? Or maybe some other way?

Do you have the product key with you? If you do, I would recommend to Download and burn the ISO to a USB and try it

What version of Windows XP? If you search on google for the version you want such as "Windows Xp Home Edition iso". Just make sure you have a product key for the specific version. Just download which ever one you prefer and just extract all the files to your USB drive
