[SOLVED] Trying to figure out my sound setup

Thanks in advance for any responses. Okay so my mobo doesn't have optical out, which I didn't consider foolishly at purchase. I have an astro tr mixamp and a sennheiser game zero headset. So the only wire I have going from the PC to the mixamp is the USB and from mixamp to headset is a double headphone jack. In video games I def am not getting good directional audio. So is there any way to get optical? Do I need optical? Anything helps
