I have been doing a lot of research regarding this and am met with nothing but a ton of conflicting information. There isn't a whole lot of info on this online but a few users have said they installed NVMe drives no problem, yet Asus support says they aren't compatible whatsoever.

The model of my machine is ASUS ROG GL702VSK AH-73

Thanks :)

UPGRADE GUIDE: ROG STRIX GL702

NVME M.2 PCIe 3.0 X4 SSD

That guide is straight from the Asus website.
Thanks! I actually saw this post as well, but my only concern is it's not the exact same model as mine. That one has a third fan(the small black one) which mine doesn't have. Which sorta leaves me skeptical regarding the NVMe compatibility as they could have changed it since my model was released. I can't believe the manual for this machine has NO info on this :(

GL702VS uses the same basic motherboard, the difference is in the options. The third fan is irrelevant because it helped solve the overheating issue related to the other GPU options.

It's also in the Manual.
