Trying to figure out why motherboard has been acting so weird from the day I got it.

Hello! I've had my Asus deluxe z97 (nfc/wlc) version for over an year, and ever since I got it, it has had some serious problems. I don't know even where to begin but I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

Symptoms that I remember that I've experienced with this PC build.
Freezing (most common)
BSoD (with all kind of different codes, ranging from ati to virus-protection to fault in nonpaged area to memory_management to corruption bsod codes)

After-effects of bsod or freezing can make motherboard act weird for example PC gets stuck in bootloop or I'll get Asus q code 55, or some more rarely and more serious problems like OS corruption or something in that field...

Sometimes it just takes a little blump or hit to the PC and it'll freeze, other times it's just happens random, and because of that, I've reinstalled windows over 10-20 times with this build...

When I disable hardware prefect (l2) and or hyperthreading it'll sometimes help to ease the rate of BSoD's.

Today I noticed that when I run OCCT with power supply setting It takes about 2 minutes before my PC freezes and then happens really weird thing that I've never come across. Motherboard's internal speaker starts to make loud like broken HDD scratching sound. It sounds pretty much like fan hitting a wire. First time I freaked out and shut off my PC.

I can see that some led's are flickering or dimming on the motherboard where the TPU switch is.

And sometimes bios freezes.

What do you guys think? Is motherboard damaged or somewhat faulty?

Components:
Motherboard: Asus Deluxe Z97 (wlc/nfc) 1 Year+ old
CPU: 4790k 1 Year+ old
GPU: ATI Radeon 7850HD 4 or 5 Years+ old
PSU: Nexus 600 Watts Over 5 years old
SSD: Samsung 1TB SSD 6 Months old Maybe
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 5 Years old (pretty heavy use)
Chassis: Thermaltake core v71
External HDD: Seagate portable FAST 4TB
Monitor: Samsung HDTV

Oh and I forgot to mention that if I try move ram sticks to different slot, I'll get q-code 55, they'll work in the first two slots though. PSU makes high pitched coil whine sound all the time, only way to stop the coil whine is to put 100% stress on the GPU

Oh thanks! I'll try! do you have any suggestions for under 100? I don't want to waste a huge buck for this PC's PSU because I have spare 5960x waiting for me that can do 4.5ghz for 1.21v ;) but don't have any other parts :pt1cable::lol:. I bought it from one guy in the UK! ^^ but definitely gonna buy seasonic's 1050 watt snow edition for that 5960x build! Hey have you ever heard broken like HDD like sound coming from MB internal speaker when PC freezes? o_O I wonder what it means. Now that I've plugged off three of 200mm thermaltake chassis fan, BSoD's rate has slowed. But when I put on a lot of stress for PC for a while It'll freeze. Stock clocks. Usually gaming is not enough to trigger freeze (usually) but randomly yes.

And If I run avg scan for all the HDD's and SSD That can trigger BSoD in about 5-24hours if I use pc at same time.

Also I see in 12v rail 12 - 11.804 fluctuation with HWMonitor when I run OCCT

Okay I've come to the conclusion that I'm gonna buy Seasonic's 1050 snow edition PSU, because if all the problems lies within the motherboard that seasonic's psu won't go to the waste, I'm gonna put it in the new 5960x build then when ever is it ready and I've bought all the components for that. I like to have a white colored build. Are there better quality psu's for the same money or is the seasonic's 1050 snow edition one of the best at that price range?

And Lol my PC is so weird, I ran FULL stress test on my PC through the night, (OCCT linpack CPU/memory) and furmark for GPU and I didn't even crash, freeze or anything... Even though I increased my CPU vCore to the 1.44v at stock boost clocks 4.4ghz just to see if it crashes when voltage is that high and no.. my CPU even used 140 -149 watts. and GPU was overclocked too. Both GPU and CPU were running at something over 194 fahrenheit. But no crash, only PC was very noisy because GPU fan.

Update:

Now I have Seasonic's PSU installed and I have yet to experience blue screen under normal circumstances, but when I overclock my CPU to 4.6GHZ I can run CPU stress tests without any problem at all but when I open heavy REAPER project I get kernel security check failure even before project has even fully loaded :/ do you think that motherboard is defective. Cause what I've read that kernel secure fail is memory or so related, so I don't get why I get that when all the cores are 46 :/ I don't get BSoD when Asus has auto tuned cores 46, 46, 45, 44

And sometimes bios lags and then freezes...

Yeah everything is in it's latest version, oh god and now I got kernel security failure even though stock clocks and it was stressed over an hour in REAPER and Charity Engine running in the background :/. It takes just a lot more time to get BSoD when not overclocked but instantaneously when I open REAPER project at 4.6 clocks :/. core voltage is at 1.34v because I'll keep it at auto just for now.

Now I came across that if I stress test ram with prime95 blend test, it instantaneously crashes... Tried two times a row because sometimes BSoD's are so random that it might be just luck and good timing, its really super weird because memtest 86+ didn't give any errors with 15 passes it only notes that RAM may be vulnerable to high frequency row hammer bit flips, but no errors but it did not crash when stressing with small FFTs and it crashed in ten minutes when testing with large FFTs

most of a time its kernel security check failure and in second most common is fault in non paged area

(Quick update) after I tested two times in a row with one stick it crashed instantaneously but then I switched it with my other ram I didn't crash (at least in a minute or so didn't test longer) and then I switch off my PC and switched rams again and but lo and behold it didn't crashed instantaneously:/ its so impossible to detect problem because I feel like symptoms may change by the minute or next bsod or if I change any bios settings or so and get random oc over clock failed even when clear CMOS and two ram slot seem to be dead and oh god this motherboard is just one year old... Starting to get angry for the asus or I dunno my sapphire GPU is the only thing that has amazingly survived defect free from the 2012 and it has had to endure 90 - 100 Celsius and has been over clocked and overvolt most of the time and I've taken in out of computer like for many many times.. So frustrating I've fought with this bsod problem for at least over 8 month!:0
