I have an old Lenovo M91P model 4518 that my friend gave me that I'm trying to trick out with old parts I had. I've already doubled the storage and ram, but now I'm looking to add a graphics card because it's still running off of old Intel HD graphics from the i5-2400 that's installed on it. The board is a Lenovo is6xm.
Unfortunately theres some kind of latch that interferes with the space where graphics cards would ordinarily go and so my old graphics cards won't fit. Given the dimensions I have to work with (pictured below) does anyone know of any cards I can get that will fit? Thanks. From what I can tell I can only fit something about 7 inches by 4 inches in there.

It looks like you can fit any low profile gpu in there. I would go for a low profile gtx 750 ti or perhaps a gt 740 if your low on cash. Both are great cards and pare well with that i5 (still a fast cpu).

Low profile card in your exact machine: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/IlV21-zr5NU/maxresdefault.jpg

Wow thanks for the advice on any low profile gpu, I went from feeling underwhelmed with my options to completely overwhelmed with the amount of choices I have.
However, now I'm realizing I only have a 240w power supply. However, its in a much smaller area than I am used to. It looks to be in a space of about 7x4x3 (pictured below with the other area for comparison). Is this a miniATX and what cheap 400w PSU can I get that will fit in here? Or, should I go the other route and keep the psu what gpu should I get?

I would go for the gtx 750 ti. Because it uses so little power, you wont have to upgrade your psu. A buddy of mine has been using the same exact card on his hp slimline (220 watt psu) for over a year without any issues. The beauty of nvidias Maxwell architecture: very low power usage.
