Trying to find a mb or mb/video card combo for Ubuntu

Hello,

I'm trying to choose a new MB or MB/video card combo that has HDMI out that has good Ubuntu compatibility. Looking to get video and sound over HDMI.

(Ubuntu 9.10, preferrably nvidia based).

Video over HDMI's going to work on just about any nvidia chipset 8000, 9000 series, ion, 200 series or whatever with the proprietary drivers.

The audio's another matter.
