This is what I can remember...
I am fairly certain it was in the 1990's. It was PC. It was online, and persistent world.
You took control of a territory, and defended it. You could attack others (I remember peaking into zones and looking for those who were afk), and be attacked. It had many futuristic vehicles, which hovered or flew.
I remember attacks vehicles used LOS, as the best base zones used 'bowl' formations, where the attackers had to crest over the top, which helped your defense. When you were not attacking, your vehicles stayed in your own zone, to defend your base, while you were gone.
I remember the different zones and terrain types, like snow, brown earth, grass, and the like.
Man, I'm sorry everyone, that was just so long ago.
