Trying to find out what happened

Hello guys, my first post here:

I have an HP laptop and I was able to play DotA 2 in the maximum quality. One day, the game started lagging very badly and from then on I can only play Counter Strike 1.6. And even in CS 1.6, when I see a smoke grenade my fps suddenly go down. In computer management it says my graphics card is working perfectly but all indicates that it is the problem here... I researched and I found out that in my case, the graphics card is "glued" to the motherboard... Will that be fixable ? How do I know for sure the graphics card is damaged and what "part" it's causing its bad function ?

Maybe a driver update could help? Or it may even be a virus!

I really don't think so, it was one moment to another. Already uninstalled and reinstalled drivers !

It is not over heating, even when I startup and run the game right after it...

Mysterious... Is it only on one game this is happening? Maybe try updating the game? Is your laptop still under warranty? You may be able to send it in and get it replaced, if not get it repaired. I'd run a virus check if I where you, a similar thing happened to me and a virus was what caused it!

Naaa, all games I tried.. And it ran out of warranty for 15 days lol (i regret not accepting the extra, but payed, warranty)

I really need to format my computer...

I'm running a virus check right now.. did that fix your problem ?

Guys, today i was playing Candy Crush at facebook and my computer shutdown by over heat ! Is that possible that something is obstructing my heat sink ? Because I hear the fans running and I'm using a cooling surface...

Must be... I dont think it would be a heatsink if it was... Laptops tend to just have low profile fans
