So I recently bought the gtx 1060 3gb graphics card. I had already uninstalled my gpu but forgot to uninstall the driver and I installed the new gpu and when I power my pc everthing is ok except, the gpu fans don’t spin or they spin for 10 seconds then stop. Also the pc doen’t display on my monitor. I have tried almost anything I can think of. Now I’m curious if I completely destroyed my pc and if I did Im screwed because i paid a lot of money for the graphics card. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Did you do this before the issue started? Does the PC work OK if you take the card out? When you say you cleaned the CPU do you mean the heatsink? Did you apply new thermal paste to it?

Would help if you listed some details about the system, what is the power supply brand and model? Did you do a BIOS update? Does it have a newer UEFI bios or legacy bios? Drivers would have nothing to do with no display, they only load once Windows loads. Do you have the video cable in the nVidia card?
