So I just got a new LG smart TV that has a screen share mode. I wanted to use it but apparently my PC doesn't support miracast.

How do I get miracast support? I'm sure all my drivers are up to date, but i'll check again. Here's my dxdiag, I couldn't get much info from it. I'm not sure why it's not supported, and I don't have much knowledge on the issue.

Dxdiag

Could someone who knows more about this help me out?

But when I go to 'connect' in the action centre, it tells me "Your PC or mobile device doesn't support miracast, so it can't project wirelessly.'

Is there something I have to install, something I have to buy?

Same here.

I can cast videos or images to the TV by right-clicking on them and selecting "cast to device" and selecting my TV.

I can cast video from youtube/twitch to my TV by using the edge browser and selecting "cast media to device" from the Edge menu.

I can see my TV under "Play Devices" when I look at Connected devices in Windows Settings.

However, when I press Win+K to bring up the Connect dialog, to cast my desktop, I get, "your pc or mobile device doesn't support miracast"

I have Intel integrated graphics enabled, though I'm actually using an Nvidia Geforce 980ti card for my desktop.

I've been searching for days on how to solve this!

My android phone can do this!

Just can't get the PC to.
