I was casting about for a way to restore the windows 7 clock in windows 10 and every 'tip' and answer I found boiled down to this: create a new value in the registry @ HKEY..................ImmersiveShell like so:
Clock1.jpg

here's a look at my registry entry:
Clock2.jpg

but that didn't do it.
So, what to do?
Thank you.

Solution
you should update win 10 to version 1709, build 16299.64 - not saying it will help with this but you 2 versions behind now. Click on the 1st link here to get the upgrade assistant:

The Registry tweak to enable the old classic Windows 7 clock does not work on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition version 1607 and later. We recommend that you submit a request for the analog clock using the Feedback Hub. We consider suggestions and comments provided by our users. These queries are being collated, reviewed, and can be considered for future updates.
For the meantime, what you can do is to download an analog clocks at the Windows store

Solution
Thank you Colif! But the question is (as far as I'm concerned) moot now, purely of academic interest as I have exchanged the PC I had for a Dell Optiplex, Intel core i5 @ 3.20GHz and with good old Windows 7. Yes, call me a fuddy-duddy, but there you are. :sol:

Also, that combination/configuration just flies! It goes! and 7 is so much more straightforward and intuitive; again to my way of thinking.
