I have a Lenovo B50-30 stock laptop. I have been attempting to install Windows 7 on it with no success. I have downloaded iso's from a number of sources, put them on usb or cd, and no go. I first tried the Microsoft MediaTool.

I also have several Desktop's I got secondhand with Windows XP and Vista and have tried to put Windows 7 on these as well.

I always get some sort of error message on the Laptop, .dll's missing etc.

On the desktops, the install starts and when it's finished, it goes back to the Windows Vista or XP os and nothing has changed.

I have been in the bios and on forums, tried everything. Any ideas? Thanks

what make and model of your laptop?
are you running the Windows 7 iso thru USB , CD?

also
for downgrading from Win 8 to 7 you will have to make sure during windows 7 install you delete the current partition of your hard drive BEFOPRE you install windows 7 since windows 8 supersedes the win 7, windows 7 will not install over it.

Let's just worry about the laptop. It's a Lenovo B50-30 laptop.

I have tried putting isos onto dvd and usb.

I can pick the option in pc settings to boot from usb but when it comes to the boot selection screen there is an up and down arrow and nothing to select.

If i try the microsoft mediatool, it downloads to 100%, says it's verifying download and starts again in an endless loop. I left it overnight and it was still doing it. The hard drive space hadn't changed and nothing changed on restart.

I tried windows 7 aero blue lite with a setup program. It says I'm missing .dll's. If I download said .dll's, there is an error message about corrupted files and to download again. Any program I download from that site is corrupted.

I tried downloading the files onto a friends computer with windows 10 and made bootable usb and dvds there. Same issues.
