So I have this friend who wants to build a PC for casual/work purposes. No games at all (most likely). I'll update my post as I get more information but at this time all I know is that he has a 3rd gen i5 3570k and an OS, and wants to use the following parts; CM EVO 212, $40-$60 case w/front USB 3.0 and possibility for upgradability (preferably, doesn't have to be) , ANTEC neo eco 620w and a BLU-RAY optical drive. So that leaves RAM, storage (not sure, I think he has one lying around but a suggestion would be nice), and a mobo. He doesn't need a GPU (most likely, will check with him again). Lastly his budget is ~$300. Pretty tight I know but I have faith you wizards can come up with something :)

Edit: so I have confirmation that all he has right now is the CPU, OS, and a sandisk 240gb ssd. So aside from that and the parts that I stated that he wanted to include, we're looking at RAM, storage, and a mobo. Just to let you guys know he doesn't know how/or need to OC so that's one trait you can knock off from the mobo.

feel free to switch the parts. just consider it a guide.
