Question Trying to implement mirroring of data drive but no option to mirror in Disk Management

Hi,

I'd like to mirror my data drive to another drive, but I cannot find an option to do that when I right click on the drives in Disk Management in Windows 10. Anybody know what I have to do to get this going?

Do I need to format the target drive first that will mirror the data from the source drive?

that is not built into windows. that is a raid option and needs to be done through a RAID set-up. look at your motherboard manual to see how it handles raid in the BIOS.

I saw instructions that if you select a partition in Disk Management and right click, it gives you the option to set up mirroring. It’s not in my menu though.
