I would like to implement raid 5 on my windows 2008 server enterprise but I appear to be having issues like small, apparently non-deletable partitions that are 100 mb in size. It also will not let me initialize the disks in turn I cannot select the create raid 5 volume, any ideas would be awesome.

Your OS is installed. Otherwise you wouldn't have the 100MB that is causing the issue. Sounds like you have an F11 function going on with either Acronis True Image or some sort of other non-Microsoft recovery software. To that end...here are your choices. Clone the drive that has the OS and the stuff you want on it. Pull it out of the computer ( for safe keeping in case you crash). Create a raid 5 and drag your C into the Raid 5. If you lose your data, then you still have the clone of what you just destroyed...so no loss. And watch out. The fingerprints are important as software providers have been getting touch on permitting re-activation of the same software over and over again. AOEMI has a good software package for dynamic as well as basic disk control. If you are a one man show...text them and ask them for a discount on the server edition. You will probably get it and if you do...the dynamic will set up Raid 5 without loss. Peace.
