Trying to install win xp to a Virtual machine

I am trying to run Windows XP in Virtual Box and got an old copy of XP on disc and extracted everything off it into a folder on my hard drive. It seems to be a setup.exe file with all the materials. How do I get Virtual Box to boot or somehow run the .exe and install windows?

On the screen where virtualbox asks for the path to the ISO file or disk, navigate to the folder where you copied the files to.
Or just install the XP disk and let it install from that.
