Trying to install Windows 10 but getting error code (using Windows 7)

I've been trying to install Windows 10. It didn't work using the Windows update as the window displaying the progress just closed every time it told me it was "Restarting PC..." so I installed the Windows 10 upgrader from their website but now I'm being faced with error code 0xc7700100. Anyone know how to fix this? I cannot find anything on it elsewhere. I'm using Windows 7.

One bit of advice i read was remove any 3rd party anti virus programs before running the upgrade.

This win 10 upgrading tool, is it the Win 10 media creation tool? I would make a USB and try running the upgrade from it. Another alternative I would suggest is a fresh install - see: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

Turning off my antivirus program fixed it! Thankyou!
