I have a B450 gaming x motherboard and am trying to move my OS to the NVMe drive if at all possible. It is an intel drive, not sure of the make or model exactly, but the BIOS has it listed as INTEL SSDPEKKW128GB. I was able to get the external boot media to install windows, or so I think, but after the install, it just kicks me to the install menu again. I checked the BIOS and the drive shows up under the tab NVMe configuration, but not the boot menu. I also have no other drives connected.

You stated that you are trying to move the OS. What are you trying to move the OS from? An HDD? If so, reinstalling the OS is your best router, while you format the older OS partition on the other drive. You might want to also change the boot options in BIOS, change from USB drive to SSD when you reboot.

Sorry, I should have been more clear, the previous OS was on an SSD, and I wiped that clean already, but my main issue, at least I think, is that the m.2 does not show up on the boot list, but it is shown in the connected drives part of the BIOS, and on the options to install windows from the install screen

Little update, I got it to show up in the boot menu, had to enable CSM and set all of the settings to legacy, and now it is not letting me install Windows on the drive. Says that Windows cannot be installed and that I should ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the BIOS
