The SSD in the system hasn’t failed, the usb is connected and looking in the bios is detected the boot order has the usb first. No matter what I do I can’t seem to install windows on this clean hardrive, any help would be appreciated.

Solution
Windows installation media (your usb) needs to have the same boot as your bios,if you have secure boot enabled you need a usb with uefi,if it's off you need one with mbr.
So get into your bios and switch this option,it could also be called legacy boot, whatever it is now switch it to the other option (on or off) and try again.
