Trying to Install windows but I am being told that the disk is formatted to 'gpt'

Trying to Install windows but I am being told that the disk is formatted to 'gpt' so it won't let me install windows.. How do I fix this issue?

at the screen where you chose the disk to install Win7 on, press SHIFT+F10

type diskpart and press Enter
type list disk and press Enter
type select disk # and press Enter (NOTE: You would substitute # for the disk number listed that you want to use)
type clean and press Enter
type exit and press Enter
Close the DOS window
Click on Refresh , select the drive, and click Next.
