Hello,
When I try launching my PC, it initially boots up with a black screen. After a while, the typical automatic repair screen with a blue background will appear. However, the screen is zoomed in with distorted text saying "Automatic Repair... your PC did not start correctly... other options to repair..." that shows up with lines of blue and black instead of the usual solid blue background. I can move my mouse, but the screen is zoomed in so I cannot see the shut down or advanced options buttons that could help me boot up in safe mode. My keyboard also works, as when I press enter, I believe my PC begins to restart because it makes the noise I usually hear when booting up and shows me a black screen again.
From searching up solutions, the best course of action seems to be to attempt booting up my PC in safe mode. The problem is, the F8 method doesn't seem to work because I did not enable it, and the only other viable option I can find requires clicking into the advanced options button which I cannot access when I am on the automatic repair screen.
What should I do? I appreciate any suggestions.
Extra Information:
This happened to me a couple of days ago when I was playing Fortnite. With no other prior symptoms and running the game with ~80FPS. However, before this happend, two times after getting ~5minutes into the game, my game crashed with gray bars and I couldn't exit out. The third time I tried launching the game, my computer crashed, and I got the distorted automatic repair screen, as described earlier.
Perhaps the screen is distorted and zoomed in because when my PC crashed, my Fortnite screen resolution was set at 1280x720, which is lower than my windows resolution.
