After the announcement of the 950 pro SSD from Samsung, i am trying to replace the "LITEON Prod IT L8T 128L9G" 128GB SSD inside my acer VN7- 791G. in this article it was suggested to just look for 80mm M.2 SATA SSD with B & M type of key.
I am suspecting my SSD to be the 128 GB version of this list.

I have already disassembled the pc to replace HDD drive with an ordinary SSD, the one with normal 2.5' size. But i would have to dig further to replace the LITEON SSD, just in case i could implement another generation , seemingly ,of trippled speed! and yet reasonable price.

In that light i found ,after the middle of the page, this comprehensive Samsung ssd comparison.

Can anyone spesify for me really what should not work among them ?

M.2 drives cab either be sata or nvme.
Your liteon is definitely a sata type so there's no guarantee that your Acer is even capable of using the nvme samsung, much less being able to boot from nvme...

Looks like you have much more homework to do.
