We just moved into a new house which has a surveillance system. All the camera feeds go to the receiver in a room in the basement. We set up a temporary TV in that room to check the system but it isn't that much use to us in that room.
What we would like to do, if possible, is output the video from the device to another room either over wifi, power outlet, etc. to avoid having to redirect all the cables through walls.
The device has HDMI and VGA out, though the TV we are using only worked when we used the VGA interface. Unknown if the HDMI issue was with the device or TV.
