Hey there. I've ran into problem. I know overclocking via program is bad and results are not as good as modifying them in the cpu bios. Anyway i did run overclock via AMD overdrive and got 4.0ghz 17.5x and 1.378V. Then i clicked save setting and reboot and overclock settings were gone. Then i decided to go to my bios and do it manually, the problem is that i know where it should be in there, but there was no option in advanced settings in my bios. Seems it's blocked or something. Anyway what should i do? I want the best performance from my PC since i paid 700Euros 4 years ago and maybe i just should buy new but if any of you guys know how i could overclock i would appreciate.

Here's info of my PC:

I have 1TB Hard Drive
6GB DDR3 memory.

Thanks, Jesse.

I won't overclock CPUs with locked Multiplier (such as yours). These days, most of them overclock really badly, or it's not possible at all (this is maybe the reason why AMD Overdrive's OC resets). Yes, on pre-builts such as yours the BIOS, is locked for Overclocking. I won't probably do this but I've made a tutorial years ago but I lost it, it's about how to OC with software.
