Trying to overclock my Cpu

Hi I wanted to put my i7 8700k clock speed to 4.0 ghz instead of 3.7ghz. Do you think i will be able to sustain the heat with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo cooling fan? if yes what would be the max speed I could handle with that cooler?

The 8700k runs at a 4.3GHz all core TurboBoost by default, so 4.0GHz isn't really an overclock. A Hyper 212 EVO will handle that default Turbo, and you might be able to do 4.7GHz on all cores if you have a decent chip that can do that at less than 1.25 Vcore, but you probably can't go much further than that without a better cooler.

TurboBoost should be enabled by default. In your BIOS it will probably be listed under CPU Turbo Mode or something like that.
