Trying to play arma 3 with friends but input from keyboard is delayed

The graphics and everything has been customized and I get decent frames, but when I try to move it takes a few minutes for the input to take place. This practically makes the game unplayable. I believe this is either a cpu or ram issue or both. The cpu I have is a AMD A8-5500 3.2GHz and ram is 8gb (speed for it is unknown, brand unknown. Its from a gateway pc which was the base for my pc)

I suspect I'll need new parts so the budget is $300 Canadian. Possible for it to go up to $400-500 but highly unlikely.

ARMA 3 is very CPU intensive, and that CPU is going to limit you heavily. Do get an improvement of any level on your frame rates, you will need a new CPU, motherboard and RAM (DDR4 vs DDR3)
