Trying to put drivers into my new pc

Can I copy and paste from the motherboards drivers disk onto a usb drive and into my new computer?

I would HIGHLY recommend you just head over to your motherboard manufacturer's website and grab the drivers there. Those will be the most up-to date ones and will usually be in a .zip format, you'll only have to unzip and put onto the flash drive (for example, a motherboard BIOS update)
