hey people,

I don't seem to be having much luck at this I have tried extracting the iso using magiciso it goes through fine but when i try to boot off it... well it doesn't boot.

where am i going wrong here... i downloaded the iso off torrentz have tried a few diff ones... i also tried using rufus but then it does boot but you can't run win setup in dos... doh.

First of all downloading Windows off dodgy torrents is a bad idea in so many ways. It is illegal and also if the ISO works than it will be covered in viruses. Second, Windows only supports LiveUSBs with Windows 10. All other versions require you to burn Windows ISOs (LEGIT ONES) using Disk Image Burner. Using a BitTorrented Windows license seems like a great idea. Until your entire life is stolen by Russian hackers- credit cards, social media accounts, etc.

What are you actually trying to do?
Install Windows from a USB
or
Install Windows to a USB?
