trying to re-install windows 7 on my laptop

i have been having a lot of trouble trying to re-install windows 7 on my laptop, every time it gets half way done with the installation it blues screens and i get a 0x0 error.

Try different RAM and also do a check on the hard drive. The BIOS may have a utility to do that and several boot disks like Hirens and Ultimate Boot CD also have disk check utilities.
