Trying to Record on one Laptop with two Identical Mics

I have two Blue Snowball USB microphones. The plan was to use them both (one for myself and one for my friend) for some audio recording. However, when they are both plugged in to my laptop, only one of the microphones is visible under the device manager. I feel that this could be because they have identical names, but I am not sure. How should I go about using two devices to record a single track? I have looked into getting a mixer, but it would be very expensive to buy USB to 3.5mm audio jack adapters as well to make it happen. Any solution helps.

Does you laptop actually have two mic ports? Usually they only have one and a headphone jack. Make sure both mics are plugged into mic jacks.
