[SOLVED] Trying to recover data from a SSD with a broken Sata port

The plastic part of the Sata port came off, leaving the pins exposed, so I carefully glued it back, but the OS just won't boot and the BIOS doesn't seen to recognize it properly, showing SSD 480 GB instead of the model. I tried placing the drive on a drive enclosure but I can't get to the data.

Because the plastic housing is broken, the pins aren't maintaining proper contact. You might need to physically hold the drive/cable in place?

I already tried holding it tight to the port and moving the pins slightly but didn't have luck with that

It looks to me as if the problem is a "kernel panic" rather than a physical problem with the connection.
