Trying to remember a late 80's dos game

I'm trying to remember an 80's dos game, but it might also be an early. 90's game as well. It's featured for about 2 seconds in the end of episode 6 of the eighties on Netflix. I believe you are wearing a visor, or something like Google glass, and I know you travel through time. It's a time traveling puzzle game from what I can remember as a kid. You moved from room to room by pressing directional keys, and clicking things on screen to interact with them. I remember needing to find clearance cards, and I think the time machine was a capsule you sat down in, and the top came down with the controls in front of you. It was kind of like myst. If anybody can help, I would really appreciate it.
