Trying to repurpose a (working) laptop screen

Hello,
I recently decided to make a Playstation 2 in a laptop case, much like Ben Hecks PS3 laptop, but with a ps2. Now, I need to get the screen working, and i have a screen from a working HP Compaq NX6320 laptop. I understand that it is not plug and play, so what would be the cheapest way I could get the screen to display the PS2?

The PS2 has AV Out, so that is a must, but I will look into those types of boards.
