Question trying to restore lost data

hello

i was trying to clone a 3 T hd to a 7 T hd and apparently have messed up stuff. there was stuff in the 7t hb before the cloneing and now the size has changed as well but i wanna recover what was in there before the cloneing started and how also do i restore the size of the hd as well

as to how critical its persionel things to me and id love to get them back if i cant ill live but id rather have it resored

oh and i went and bought :Avanquest Data Recovery Professional:

so far it wont recover anything

everytime i click on the icon all it does is spin

guesse i blew my $ on that then?
