i have a bunch of old youtube videos on my old HDD in .FLV format from back in 2006, i tried to reupload them but they immediately get flagged for copyright strike.

so how come there's so many emo music videos that are allowed on youtube with full tracked copyrighted music, but when i upload mine i get flagged when my vids are only around 3 minutes long and doesn't contain the full track of copyrighted music(due to youtube's 5min limit back then)

is there a way to circumvent this?

If you dont have any rights to the copyright then no, you cant.
The reason typically comes down to youtubes filter flagging uploads as they go up compared to videos that already exist.
The system is great about catching things as they go up, buy once they are live not so much, typically being flagged by users would hit them as well.
