Question Trying to run minecraft java on older pc i5-2400 but getting opengl not supported error, how can I fix this?

I've tried updating the HD2000 graphics driver, but didn't help; what can I do to fix this?

Run gpu-z, it will tell you if your iGPU supports OpenGL or not and up to what version.
Spoiler, your card supports up to 3.1 while minecraft needs 3.2

Yeah, it'll run up to version 1.16 with the 3.1 so that's ok
