Trying to set up tv as a 3rd monitor

Ok so im trying to use a tv as a third monitor, and my gpu only has 1 hdmi slot, but my other gpu has a free one. as both of my current monitors are dvi and hdmi, could i plug the new tv into the hdmi slot on my gpu2?

Well, go ahead and TRY. Not going to damage your comp, worst case scenario it will simply not work.
