aha! the backslash needs to be escaped out with a backslash...

That I could cope with, but it removes single \s when you go back to edit your sig....

Is there a comprehensive list of the tags anywhere? Sure I found one shortly after starting to post (on new forums), but now I seem to be unable to find it again? odd.

When you reply or post, you can see the tags from a link on the left side. Sorry that it is not more clear. It may be in the gereral faq too, but I have not looked.

I would not even bother with html tags that are currently supported (I think bold, underline, italic).
