Trying to start ASUS by shorting MOBO

Hey guys, I've been having trouble with a pre-built PC I bought some time back.

The switch for the power button isn't working anymore, and when I turned my computer on in the recent past, it would have trouble booting fully. Once booted fully and I was logged in, the pc would randomly restart after 10-15 mins.

So anyways, my father and I took the tower apart and did some cleaning, put it back together and now the damn thing wont even boot up at all...

I was wondering if anyone has experience in shorting this model to power it up. Or if any one has any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
The power button simply momentarily shorts 2 pins on the FP header on the motherboard to start. Find the two pins that the power button wires go to and short them to start.
