Question Trying to transfer images via infrared dongle, help please

I have an old Casio 2220 camera watch but I lost the IR transfer dongle. I did buy a generic one on Ebay but doesn't work with the camera software, the pc does not recognize the watch. I'm running a pc with XP. I'm showing the original dongle(PAD 2) that was lost and the new one from Ebay. Help much appreciated.

[SOLVED] - Where are images stored on an infrared device?

I have an old Casio Wrist Camera that used infrared technology. I deleted some photos on it many years ago and was wondering if there is any kind of scan you can do to get the photos back. Thanks.

I didn't have the dongle that I just got in the mail yesterday from Ebay. In the old post I was wondering if I could open up the watch and maybe download the images off a chip or something.

OK.
Well, the 'generic' one from fleabay is apparently not it.

It would seem to require the actual thing, if this is to work at all.
And if those images still exist after all these years.

I think they still exist but it won't recognize the watch, I did run the original software, won't recognize.

No, new battery, it turns on fine, operates fine
