Question Trying to turn xmp on but it doenst work

I have a Msi b450 tomahawk mobo and ram: G.Skill RipjawsV 16GB DDR4-3200MHz.It was all fine xmp was working but then i updated windows with 1903
update and ram mhz got stuck to 1600 i tried so many times turning xmp on in bios it said ram was running at 3200 but when i reboot i open task manger and cpu z and i says 1600mhz.I dont know what to do please help.Any help will be apriciated.Thanks for your time!

DDR means double data rate cpuz is showing 1600 your ram is running at 3200

But in task manager it says 1600 as well.But yesterday its said 3200.And i feel the pc wasy slower.I am turning it on and its so laggy.When yesterday it wasnt.

Oh i think it was some little more windows updates after the big thats why i was lagging alot in startup idk yet tho i am gonna check it another time i dont have time now

Yes it is a ryzen build i have an ryzen 5 2600

Ok try updating your bios but not the latest bios as that will be for the latest ryzen so read up on any changes they make to the ageas code might be at least the last two bios updates and has caused issues for some using older ryzens , then update chipset drivers from amd site,then windows latest update as Microsoft apparently are catching up with ryzens quirks hopes this helps

So update my bios.Like not the one that says - Support Ryzen 3000 series CPU?So from here https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-TOMAHAWK#down-bios i will update to Version:7C02v15
that says Description- Improve memory compatibility.It doesnt say anything about Ryzen 3000 series CPU.So do i update to that?
