[SOLVED] Trying to update drivers

Hi I am trying to update my bios on a gigabyte X470 ultra gaming with AMD Ryzen 7 2700x. This is to fix some overheating issues. However, I am having a lot of trouble with updating my motherboard chipset drivers. I have the bios update ready but it says that my chipset driver should be up to date before I install. I looked at a lot of YouTube videos and they all seem to be for intel. I already have the chipset driver downloaded but I need to install if anyone could help I would be very grateful.

What is the build version of Windows that you are running?

Why do you think a BIOS update would resolve your overheating issues? There's nothing in the BIOS notes about overheating/cooling.

18.10.20.02 so this is your chipset driver for win 10. It is a zip file. Unzip it, then open folder and look for setup.exe file. Click on that and it will install the file where it needs to go. restart computer then install bios.
